I started writing Rising Ember back in 2016. At the time, it was titled Sun Kissed and had a veerrry different beginning. At first, writing it was just a way to let out the creative parts of me. I wrote during undergrad classes, all with pen and paper! In 2018, I decided to transfer the handwritten story to a digital form, with much needed editing. It wasn't until 2019 or so that I decided I would try and publish the book!
Throughout the entire journey, I battled with myself about whether or not it would be good enough to share with the world. The story has changed immensely from when I first wrote it out and I am so proud of myself for how far my writing has come. I'm so thankful for everyone who has supported me on this journey, especially my readers!
