When I published Rising Ember, I thought to myself "wow, I'm an author!" But, after getting book two out into the world--and having done much more of the publishing behind-the-scenes work--I feel more like an author than I did before. There is such a vast number of feelings that go into writing and publishing, and I have felt them all. Excitement, fear, nervousness... but fighting through it all (thanks to my amazing support team and all the wonderful readers), Dark Inferno came to be! I would not trade this journey for anything.

Oh. My. God!!

I love this book so much- the characters are deep, well rounded and relatable. Thea is forever a badass and I loved all the action scenes with the elemental magic!
This book is deep and intriguing, it’s powerful and consuming. I definitely saw a betrayal coming but I was still shocked when I actually read it! Arleta does such a beautiful job in bringing this world to life and expertly weaves in clues and details that lead to something bigger in the end. And the ending...
